I will grade this clinic along with the PA and the MD as poor. It has been the second time they have wrongly diagnosed one of my children. Last year being the first time when I brought my daughter in with a severe repertory condition. They diagnosed her with Asthma and gave her everything he thought she needed to control her Asthma…that same day my daughter had another few episodes and I decided to get a different opinion. Before our next appointment my daughter went for over two minutes without breathing for numerous times. I went back and they gave her antibiotics on top of all the medication for asthma, needless to say it didn’t go away because after I consulted a respiratory specialist they made a simple test that diagnosed her with whooping cough or pertussis. I had already asked Dr. Ali to rule this out and he said there was no way she could have that. My daughter had been back to school and never put at bed rest. She did spread the virus to other kids because we had no clue it was so contagious.

The most recent case is of my 18 month old grandbaby, she had all the symptoms of having measles and the PA stated that he doctor was certain the child does not have measles and refused to test her for it. She got sent home with antibiotic and fever reducers but was not diagnosed with the virus. Again what becomes a greater issue is that my daughter which is her mother is 8 months pregnant questioned the PA on what she should do to prevent getting it passed on to her or her unborn child and the PA advised her to go visit her doctor the next day. Measles are very dangerous for pregnant women specially in earlier stages and she should not go and put other ladies at risk if she thinks it’s measles for her to call in and explain what we thought it could be. I suggested for her to go to a different doctor and sure enough after being tested she does have a positive result for this virus called measles. Even though there is not much to be given to treat measles we can now prevent from spreading it to anyone else especially those at a higher risk.
